Planning and Budgeting for Business Growth

Financial well-being October 4, 2016 By DJ Jones

Planning for the future state of your business is the key to helping your business grow and succeed. It is important to have a strategic plan in place, aligned with your annual budget, so that you can continue current operations while working to achieve your long-term goals.

Here is a link to an article that I recently came across, by InfoEntrepreneurs.org, which provides some great details about Budgeting and Business Planning. In this article, it says “Structured planning can make all the difference to the growth of your business. It will enable you to concentrate resources on improving profits, reducing costs and increasing returns on investment.”

I also encourage you to visit Score.org, which will take you to a gallery of business planning and financial statement templates for your future planning.

Our hope is that these websites and tools will help you to build a business plan and budget, specific to the needs of your business.

At First United, we are committed to the long term success of your business and will work with you to plan for current and future growth opportunities. Once you have created your business growth plan, contact your local First United Loan Officer or myself for more information on how we can help you achieve your goals.
